It all started with a gal I was attracted to in high school. I was just starting to play guitar and she inspired the lyrics. Since I was a beginner at playing guitar I somehow came up with a melody only using 4 notes. The lyrics came naturally but never recorded it as an actual song until years later when I met another musician at my old job and he dug it; so we collabed.
